If you don’t know I am a single mother. With a teenager that is a part of everything. Being so I am busy and I have to hurry and get dinner ready when she gets out of school. Here are some simple tips that I use to get meals on the table faster.

1. Plan in advance: You should try to plan out my meals in advance. You can make them easy and do what me and my daughter do, are in the mood for and write it out putting it on the frig.

2. Freezing: I am a freezing queen I love to freeze things to make meals easy. You can make taco meat and  freeze it so that if you want taco based meal its easy to prepare and take half the time. You can also do this with Italian based meals. You can make the meat and season it and then freeze it. I even have a ebook called the Freezer Guide to show what and how to freeze food to get you started.

3.Cook while your gone (slow cooker): I am a slow cooking queen,as well  I love that the meal is cooking while I am gone. Soups are the best for these in the winter and it helps me be able to not stop and get fast for lil diva.

4. Homemade TV Dinner: I like to take left over meals and put them into the Ziploc separator this is freezable and I write in marker the date. That way if I am sick or she is chilling at the house while I am running errands my daughter can fix something for herself.

5. Use my Stockpile: I am famous for creating new creations using items from my stockpile. My soup recipe is a perfect example of me need a meal and looking at my stockpile and saying what can I make quickly.

6. Prep in advance: I do this on the weekends once I know what we are cooking I try to do some prep work for the week whether its cooking meat or cutting up fresh veggies.

7. Remix your food: When I try to remix left overs when ever possible most popularly my chili which I can remix into 7 different meals.
