I was invited to go to Snellville to try a new restaurant and the best part is its the first one in the country. I met with the CEO Todd who happens to not only be a great guy but a DAWG. That’s right he went to UGA. So instantly we had a connection he told me about all the research ( 2 years worth) that went into not only figuring out where in country to try this concept but also the location. There is a another location that is opening this summer in Jacksonville and another is planned in the Atlanta area soon.
Now the food was amazing and fresh and when I say fresh. I mean I literally saw them pressing out the corn tortillas and making flour tortillas while we were getting out drinks. The food amazing. I tried a steak with bell peppers and onions on a corn tortillas. I also tried the flour tortilla with a creamy sauce, the chicken quesadilla, and dessert these cinnamon puffs with a cream sauce ( kinda like a personal cinnamon bun) and everything was fresh and good.
I also bought my daughter and she is the seafood taster and she had the shrimp quesadilla and she LOVED IT!!!. Overall the food was excellent I also like the Mexican Coke it was really good ( same taste just made with sugar cane not corn syrup). One of the best things about the location is that they have a patio but whats even better is that they have a covered area that can convert to an outdoor are with sliding doors. I loved that idea and can’t wait for a cool summer night with the girls that live on that side of town.
This restaurant is opening on April 14, 2014 at 11 a.m. the mayor of Snellville will be there and there will be giving out free samples. On top of the decent prices they will be having a daily drink special from 4 to 7 pm featuring 10 oz. tequila margarita for onyl $1.50.
