Today on 30 Ways to save without coupons we are going to talk about what NOT to buy at the grocery store. Believe it or not there are many things that are WAY higher at the grocery store than at other stores. I am going to let you know some of the things that you should NEVER buy at the grocery store. Now, while every once in a while there will be a sale on these items that beat the other stores they are far and few between.
Toothpaste, Mouthwash, and Toothbrush- I am not a fan of buying toothpaste in the grocery store. Why? Because most of the time I can go to a drugstore and be a better higher grade of toothpaste for FREE with the reward programs that the three major drugstores have.

Cleaning Products– This again comes back to getting it cheaper at other stores. I am known to shop at drugstores and stores such as Family Dollar and Dollar General to get my cleaning supplies. I also like to buy the generic version of these cleaning supplies as I find that they work just as well and save me on average more than $1.00 per bottle.
Bonus Tip: Twice a year Family Dollar sales there brand cleaning supplies for less than a dollar great time to stock-up for the year.
Makeup- With drugstore rewards programs catered to makeup. Such a CVS Beauty Rewards Program. So that along with in store coupons that you add via your CVS app (that doesn't count if you dont cut it right?) you make out better buying it at a drugstore.
Bonus Tip: Some people use dollar stores like Dollar Tree and I am all of it because you can use coupons at Dollar Tree so you can REALLY save a ton of money getting these items there.
