Shop Alternative Stores to Save Money at Groceries
See there is a method to my madness. Alternative stores such as Aldi is a great place to save money. Now if you're not familiar with Aldi it only sells its brand (for the most part). They are also known for their amazing fruits and vegetables that are almost always cheaper than the store.
Remember in part one we talked about can goods and how companies are understanding that they can't just be cheaper it has to taste good and over the years this has become true.
Aldi has everything in store band and what taste the same pepper and salt which are cheaper here than other stores. Also, look at their condiments at lower prices. I live for their steak sauce it honestly tastes like A-1 without costing me almost 4 bucks. It's less than half of that for the same size. Also, there can goods you can save over 50 % of buying can goods there instead of the store even when they are on sale.
Shop Drugstores to Save Money At Groceries
But when shopping there are other places you can look at as well. Such as drugstores ( CVS, Walgreens, and Rite- Aid) when the food on sale or there is a reward with it can end up saving you money cause you can get nonfood items on top of your food. Dollar Stores, such as dollar tree, dollar general, and family dollar not only take coupons but also have sales on food as well.

Shop Farmers Markets or Certain Specialty Stores
Another alternative is Farmers Markets and of course the smaller Organic Stores. I love organic stores to help save on Produce. Also, look at lesser-known grocery stores. An example is H mart I love going there for not only cheaper and fresher produce but they sell fresh fish and when I say fresh I mean still swimming fresh. The difference in taste is AMAZING.
Also, some groceries stores are known for certain items an example of that would be here in Atlanta we have a local chain here called Wayfield and they are known for having a lower price on meat. They are known for cheaper meat. Sometimes the price is so good I have to go out my way because the savings make up for it.

I really like shopping at Aldi. Their brands are of good quality, as a matter of fact they make the salsa my family prefers over all others. And they have the lowest prices on the SWEETEST grapes
I agree unfortunately alot of people frown upon Aldi. They don’t know what they are missing.
I have shopped there before to buy cat food. BUT I have yet to actually purchased from their store. I do go to 99 cent store, Dollar Tree and Dollar General. I have also found that Big Lots helps keep my pantry full and my stomach to boot.
