Yesterday, I was invited out along with other bloggers in the Atlanta area to see the launch of there new pricing campaign. I also learned about whats going to be happening with Fuel perks and much more. This is also where I learned news about Kroger so shocking to the couponing community that it deserved its own post, the end of Kroger's Double Couponing Policy.
We met with 2 reps from Kroger who gave us a ton of information about the new prices and Kroger itself. Kroger has 2500 stores in 31 states. In Georgia there are 160 stores. They are the 2nd largest grocer in the country.
Kroger is rolling out a new look to there brand and along with that comes new signage for there stores. This is also to help with there new pricing style.
Here are the details:
“New Lower Price” — that means this item is recently reduced.
“Low Price”– this is the everyday price for that item.
“Sale Price”– this is a limited time special item price.
Kim & Jennifer let us know that the new lower prices were to help those that do not coupon according to them is most of there shoppers (must be nice). That they wanted to lower the prices on there fruits and vegtables and even gave us a small preview of some of the prices coming out this Sunday (9/8/2013) when this new campaign launches.

Also to help save money they will be giving more ways to earn fuel points and remember even if you don't have a Kroger fuel center near you, you can use your points at Shell stations in your area.
They also really want people to check out there apps because with it you can get coupons, check your fuel points and much more.
I have to say from looking at the preview and I know in Atlanta grapes go on sale for $1.99/lb.. to see them for $0.99/lb is a really good deal.
Afterward we toured this store and it is huge. Loved the layout and flow of it. We were given goodies and we home we a new knowledge about Kroger. Check out the pics. Below what do you think about the new lower prices and signage?
