So if you have ever been a part of my blog for a while then you know that I have a teenage daughter. She is awesome for the most part and thank God everyday that I have her in my life. But there are times when I have to teach her that things in the house have to be done or your grades have to improve or there are consequences.
One thing I have done is to incorporate the idea of the REPO MAN. No he isn't real but my daughter has certain things that I expect of her. Her grades and her chores mostly. But when she doesn't do that there is a consequence that involves the REPO Man.

An example:
I get my daughters grades everyday. When I do I always look to make sure that my daughter is doing her work. When I see a zero ( rare but it happens) I first ask her why does she have a zero most times its the teacher put the wrong grade or she turned it in and the teacher misplaced it. But then there are times that its totally because she just didn't do it. When that happens the REPO MAN comes to visit.
She will come home from school and her cable box might be gone, her Wii might be gone, she may have her tablet and laptop gone. That's because she didn't pay her bill which is making sure she is taking care of her responsibility. Now she knows to ask me what bill didn't she pay if something is missing from her room. But also I figure it will help her be more responsible as a adult cause she will have a fear of the REPO MAN. Win Win in my book.

I love your way of thinking. Best way to show her that she doesn’t want the real one knocking at her door.
This is such a good idea! It definitely should put the fear of the repo man in her! Lol. #BLMGirl
