Why I Decided to Organize it to Linen Closet?
I decided to do this cause honestly, it needed it. If you don't know the story my grandparent passed within 5 months of each other and before my grandmother passed she asked me to move in with her to help after my grandfather passed. She became sick 3 days after we buried my grandfather. I became the homeowner after my grandmother passed and I am working hard to make their house my home by bringing me into the house. This is some of the ways I am doing that.
What Did I Not Like About the Organization?

My grandmother God rest her soul had her own way of organizing and it was through knowledge of how she set it up. So if you didn't know you didn't understand how it was organized. That is the problem for me I didn't understand how it was organized. The sheets were not separated by size so unless you knew which sets went to which bed then you were lost. I was at this point completely lost and overwhelmed. So I decided to fix it.
So Where Do You Start when Organizing a Linen Closet?
I like to look at the issue. For me, the issue is how to get the sheet sets separated by size King, Queen, and Full and it does not take forever. That is one of the main things I focused on when trying to decide how to organize this closet. I decided on baskets to help me make this simpler for me and my family. After looking at Pinterest for ideas, I decided to look to Amazon for my baskets and ways to organize.
What Did I Use to Organize my Linen Closet?

We need to start at the bottom to understand my thoughts. I wanted the fleece blankets we use in the colder months easy to take downstairs for use and still be cute and stylish so I found these amazingly cute Closet Baskets. These Closet Baskets were super affordable.

Next, I needed a place for rags, face towels and towels that were easy to see. on the top two shelves you will see my solution to that with these cute and functioning Towels and Rags baskets that made organizing that super easy and one of the first things I purchased (I wish I could have gotten it in grey) but I will upgrade eventually and grey will be a must.
Last but not least I needed a way to organize the sheet sets. I had to have them not be seen as much. Enter the boxes that I have organized the sheets inside by size. While this was extremely time-consuming I love how easy and organized the closet looks with these. I found these cute grey Bedding Baskets to not only put the bedding in but it be out of the way and neat looking.
I can truly say that I love the way this looks and for under $100 not bad I think. What do you think about this look and organization of my linen closet? Leave a comment below.
