If you don't know (not sure how you wouldn't) I am a single mother and being so I am blessed enough to have a great support team one of them being my grandmom. She helps me alot with my daughter so that she is able to be in activities after school when I have meetings or I am working. She is amazing.

A few weeks ago my daughter lost her lunch bag. So this was not the first time, this was like the twenty time since school started. She had also misplaced her other (replacement) lunch bag. Obviously frustrated with my daughter complete lack of responsibility my grandmother made her pay for lunch with her own money. When my grandmother told me my daughter looked at me like I was going to tell her different. To her shock and dismay I agreed with my grandmother. She of coursed turned around and looked at me. I told her ” Since you can't seem to be responsible enough to keep up with your bags we are going to see how you do with your own money. Since you seem to have a complete lack of respect for me and your nana's money.”
She went and got some of her allowance but was upset and you know what she found both bags. Its been about a week since she found her bags and not once has she left that bag. Lesson learned for now….
What have you done to teach your kids a lesson?

I totally agree. Last week i told my son he’s going to have to replace his notebooks next time he gets money cause his dad has bought 3 sets and he has messed them up. I’m a stay at home mom and with my husband being the only working we can’t constantly replace his notebooks.
