A few weeks ago I was on Social Media talking about the Johnsonville Firehouse Challenge. It was between Firehouse 19 and 32 in Atlanta. It was a fun neighborhood event that was hosted by Johnsonville and they had Atlanta's People Station V-103 doing a live remote. So you have great food to try and the judge was the one and only Desmond Trufant.
So there were two dishes of course both with Johnsonville sausage. Station 19 which hosted the event in Virginia Highlands area of Atlanta (a area that I rarely go to but LOVED) served us Sausage and Squash Stew.

Firehouse 32 had a different dish Pumpkin Spice Sausage Stew. Which was my first time ever having pumpkin in soup and it was good.
The Celebrity judge was non other than Atlanta Falcon Desmond Trufant he was really nice and told me I gotta come to a game. I hope so soon. I love football.
In the end the winner chosen was the Pumpkin Spice Stew. I personally preferred the other stew but both were really good and it depended on your preference.
The best part of the day was that Johnsonville donated $5,000 to the City of Atlanta fire stations in appreciation of their hard work and daily sacrifice.
