On Saturday I went to support one of my favorite bloggers and friend Tami Reed of Talking with Tami. Especially since she was on my side of town FINALLY LOL! She was hosting a Mom & Me at Ashley Stewart in East Point. I love Ashley Stewart plus size fashion is hard to find for me add the fact that I am 6ft tall and you get the picture about the issues I have.
Well I was in for a treat. I was treated to a Mommy Makeover. I had no clue I was surprised but after everything that has happened to me recently I was happy to get this amazing makeover. So I was taken to the front where I was asked to take a before pic. Yeah I was running errands so I was not looking the best decent but not the best. I was screaming for a makeover.
Then I was told that my friend Tami was going to help me with my clothes. We have been friends for 5 years now and although we don't see each other we talk often to where she totally knows me. Plus she is a fashion diva I have always loved her style.
After trying on the outfit and decided it was the one I was taken to the back where they had hair and makeup for me. I was excited and mad that I had not washed my hair like I was suppose to the night before cause they had to work with my wig (fail on my part).
Once done I realized that I had some heels in the car that would go great with the outfit so I went to the car and got my red heels and put on my outfit and the result was amazing. I felt amazing and as you can see the smile was from ear to ear.
I danced and had an amazing time while the other women got there makeovers. We had amazing conversations and it was all and all a great event. But the best surprise was yet to come at the end of the event we showed off our transformation.
The store manager came up and thanked everyone and said she had a surprise. We were given all of the items that we were wearing on top of that we were given an additional $25.00 gift card to shop at a later date. That left one of the girls in tears and I was trying to hold it all in I was in amazement.
