Being a blogger I am always asked to try new places that open up and its rare I can go because most places are too far out for this South Metro lady. But I was able to try a franchise that decided to land in south metro a rare treat. Pie Five Pizza only Georgia store had there grand opening on Friday and it was amazing.
Pie Five Pizza Company is a Dallas based pizza place that has a similar format to most new chains (think Chipotle but with pizza). The pizza they sell is a personal size pizza and the not only are all the items fresh and put together in front of you but, you get all the toppings you want for only $6.99. Its amazing quality at such a reasonable price.
When we first got their we was greeted by a cheerful employee by the name of Destiny Ramey she takes care of the customers when they come in and makes sure the eat in customers are comfortable and happy. She is honestly one of the most polite, cheerful and professional employees I have ever met at a restaurant.
I met with the Distric Manager Jerrold Wilkins and he is originally from St. Louis and lived in Birmingham before coming to Atlanta. He said that this location is the first of many for the Atlanta area. The Next to open will be Sandy Springs and Alpharetta so be on the look out. This is definitely going to be a hit in Sandy Springs for lunch time. I can see this place being packed with business men and woman getting there fresh pizza for lunch.
