So the other day after a horrible yard sale ( I made $3.00) and realizing that this stuff would have to go on Ebay. I was in the mood for soup but didnt want to wait the hours it usually takes me. So I looked in my stockpile to see what I could come up with and man was it good. Ths can be a stew or a soup I will post below how to do each one.
1 package of grilled and ready chicken strips
2 Birdseye Steamfresh Rotoin pasta with carrots, corn, and peas
2 cans of diced tomatoes ( for stew) or 1 can of tomato soup and one can of diced tomatoes (for soup)
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
Garlic salt
Dehydrated onions (you can use real onions)
Olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste.
In a big soup pot I put the olive oil, chicken strips and onions into the pot cooking the meat just a tad bit more for about 5 mins or until the onions are brown ( if you use real ones). As thats cooking I added the garlic salt and black pepper.
Then I added the two cans of tomatos and let that cook. While that simmering I put the steamfresh in the microwave each for 3:30. Once done both bags are done I put the entire bag into the pot as well and stir.
Let simmer for 15 mins. and you are done. It was a hit in my house and took less than 30 mins. In m house fast wins out all the time.

I want to make soups but you are right, they DO take forever to make-must try this one,seems pretty quick to make!
I think Rotisserie Chicken would work here as well 🙂
You can definitely add rotisserie chicken this this recipe this is what makes it so great. So easy to switch it up I just used what I had in the house at the time and turned it into this. Let me know how it turns out. I love pepper so I add alot. So good.
It looks so hearty and warm. I love a 30 minute recipe!!
