So I was listening to Formation when I first came up with my title I was like laughing so much I was like this is TOTAL PERFECTION. I am by no means a Beyonce stan have never been to her concert (motherhood wins over seeing Queen Bee)or bought her CDs I have about five of her songs that I have purchased though. But I love her music so after I started looking at some lyrics to actually find lyrics that would go with this post I realized that Beyonce gives nuggets of amazing money saving tips in alot of her songs.
Formation
Earned all this money but they'll never take the country out me. I got hot sauce in my Bag. Swag.
Money hasn't changed her she is still the same woman. A better dressed more fabulous shoes, purses and all but she is still the same. Money doesn't make the person you are who you are.
Formation
I see it, I want it
I stunt, yeah, little hornet
I dream it, I work hard
I grind 'til I own it
In simple term. Work for what you want. Nothing is handed to you. It takes dedication and hard work to make money. I like to remind myself of that all the time whenever I get down. Nope time to get in formation and come up with the next mind blowing idea that will help my audience save money.
Bills, Bills, Bills
Now you’ve been maxing out my card (card)
Gave me bad credit, buyin’ me gifts with my own ends
Haven’t paid the first bill
Don't give your credit to anyone that doesn't share your last name. Hasn't Judge Judy, Judge Mathis, and Peoples Court taught us to stop doing this craziness yet. Ugggh just don't
Independent Women Part I
Question: How’d you like this knowledge that I brought
Bragging on that cash that he gave you is to front
If you’re gonna brag make sure it’s your money you flaunt
Depend on no one else to give you what you want
I see this all the time unfortunately. Woman bragging about what they got but would not have without a man. Be it a purse, car, or even a business. I am not talking about married woman to me that is different. Make your own money, don't depend on anyone or any material possessions to prove your worth. That is how people get into to debt trying to keep up with the Jones (as my mom like to say).
