I know you are thinking it's not even Halloween how are you already getting ready for Thanksgiving. Due to the fact that I am on food stamps (no I don't get much). I have to buy when things are on sale and when things are cheapest.
One of the things that happened was last week eggs were on sale for $0.99 for a dozen. So I went and bought three dozen and stacked them neatly in my fridge for all my dishes.
By doing this not only am I saving money but cutting the time in the kitchen on Thanksgiving so that I can spend more time with the family. I am also one to buy items at the lowest price. I saw that potato is on sale for $2.50 this week at Kroger and I will be buying 2. I will be washing and cutting these potatoes and freezing them not only for Thanksgiving but also for potato soup. I also got a rebate and store coupon on top of that for even more savings.
This are just two of the things that I have purchased for Thanksgiving. Now alot of are probably asking will this save me money. Yes not only will it save me money but I will be done shopping early and be able to enjoy my family on that day.
The number one question that I get from people is how do you know when items you buy are at there lowest price? Well I have a chart that I created that helps me determine the lowest price. I am now passing my printable chart to my readers.
